This boathouse, built for the City of Lafayette, replaced a landmark, historical building that was lost in an arson fire. Unique features of this building are its nautical-style architecture, boat ramps, paddle boat storage area and most notably, the beautiful observation deck which flanks the building and extends out over the lake.
